3 more of the 15 remaining US-Canadian missionary hostages freed  

Three more of the remaining 15 Canadian-American missionaries kidnapped east of Port-au-Prince, Ganthier, were released on the evening of Sunday, December 5, according to a statement from the Ohio-based Christian Aid Ministries. .  

We are grateful to God that three more hostages were released last night, the organization wrote and added that those released are safe and appear to be in good spirits.  

Christian Aid Ministries says it is unable to provide the names of those released, the circumstances of the publication or any other details.  


The organization did not say whether they were released for ransom. The ecclesiastical structure asks to focus the next three days on prayer and fasting for the hostages.
