Assassination of Jovenel Moïse: Léon Charles and Rockefeller Vincent summoned by investigating judge Gary Orélien

After many judges refused to conduct the investigation of the case, nearly 5 months after the assassination of former President Jovenel Moïse, Judge Orélien who agreed to investigate the investigation seems to want to shed light on this case.

The investigating judge Gary Orélien, leading the investigation into the assassination of Jovenel Moïse, summoned Léon Charles and Rockefeller Vincent, respectively former DG of the Haitian national police and former minister of justice and public security. In addition, he banned the CEO of Oli rent-a-car, Oli Damus from leaving the country by issuing a warrant against him.

Judge Gary Orélien has already heard from several personalities in the context of this case, including the former first lady Madam, being the first privileged witness to the murder.

It should be noted that the people suspected in this case, apprehended abroad, have not always returned to the country to be heard by the Haitian justice. They are Colombian Antonio Palacios Palacios, arrested in Jamaica, and businessman Samir Handal, arrested in Turkey.
