Listen to this article

The Apple giant took advantage of the new iOS and iPadOS 15.2.1 update to fix a critical security flaw, so Apple fixed 3 bugs. Learn about the changes and why you need to update your iPhone and iPad.

It's about 1 GB of download, the new version of iOS and iPadOS (15.2.1) on all recent iPhones and iPads, but on the new features side, this recent version of the mobile operating system does not bring really a lot. In return, Apple took the opportunity to correct several critical security flaws, particularly 3 bugs.

The first bug fixed by new version resides in the Message application. Some devices could not view photos sent via an iCloud link on some devices. Secondly, it fixed a bug in the interface dedicated to cars, the CarPlay. In the end, the real and main reason for updating to this new version is a bug in HomeKit connected objects, a feature that allows you to connect your iPhone or iPad to objects in your home.

Last important information for addicts of the bitten apple brand: The company has just launched beta 2 of iOS/iPadOS 15.3. In the meantime, only registered developers have the privilege of testing this new version.

It is highly recommended to update your iPhone or iPad to the latest version, to do this, go to your iPhone, in Settings > General > Update. Note that you will need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network and have your iPhone battery over 50 % in order to start the update.
