In a press release made public this Thursday, November 19, 2020, Delphine Gardère Holding announces the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the oldest Haitian companies.
Since after the death of Thierry Gardère, former boss of this company, an unprecedented quarrel had broken out between the heirs for control of the company.
After several months of discussions, the saga seems to end between the members of the family.
Through a note published this Thursday, November 19, Delphine Gardère says she is now taking control of the company.
"The Barbancourt rum company remains a Haitian family company, rooted in the history and economy of its country", we read in the text.
Several dynamic, competent young people have been recruited to strengthen the team announces the new boss, who says she wants to bring a touch of modernity to the company.
Remember that the Barbancourt rum company was created in 1862 by Dupré Barbancourt. The year 2021 will bring back the 160 years of existence of this company, the oldest in Haiti.
